As mentioned, I added a bunch of starter ships and made career mode a choice - by default you start with everything unlocked

When selecting a ship, if you struggled with rotating your character, use AUTO ships instead of MANUAL. the experience is much better.

Ship sizes and weapon minimum ship size requirements are now active so the new peashooters can't use big rocket launchers (rockets are bigger than the ship lol)

And some other quality of life changes.
